SEAMEO RETRAC and TESOL-HCMC Association will be jointly organizing an international conference on Innovations in Language Teaching and Learning in Ho Chi Minh City, September 23-24, 2010.
Theme: Innovations in Language Teaching and Learning
Sub-themes:
New ways of teaching language skills;
New ways of teaching grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation;
New ways of assessing EFL learners;
New ways of teaching young learners;
New ways of using technology in language teaching;
Action research in language teaching.
OBJECTIVES
To provide a forum for teachers, lecturers, educators and experts to share theories, practices and lessons learned, and to present their research as well as to exchange information on the innovations in language teaching and learning and its related subthemes;
To promote collaboration and cooperation among educational institutions at national, regional, and global levels through net working activities at the conference.
PARTICIPANTS
The conference attracts the participation of teachers, lecturers, educators and experts in the field from different institutions both locally and internationally.
OUTCOMES
Attending the conference, participants have an opportunity to:
share and learn innovative ideas, approaches, best practices, and research findings about the most concerned issues of language teaching and learning today;
exchange and update related information; and,
build network among teachers, lecturers, educators and experts in the field from the region and the word.
