Amy Christensen teaches English as a Second Language at Central New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque, New Mexico USA where she regularly has students from over 20 different countries in her classes. After serving as an Associate Dean for three years, she recently went back to classroom teaching which is her true passion in life.
She has taught English and conducted teacher training workshops in Spain, Mexico, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, China, India, and Turkmenistan. Her specialty in English language teaching is creating active learning environments using a student-centered approach. She regularly presents at TESOL and local and regional conferences on practical classroom teaching strategies.
