English for Children

Kiddy programs are specifically designed for children & teenagers aged 4–15, who wish to improve their English language skills and broaden their knowledge through interactions with their classmates and teachers.
At SEAMEO RETRAC, young learners will find:

  • stimulating and exciting English programs with various age-appropriate and enjoyable learning activities using stories, videos, games, songs, and information technology to develop their English skills;
  • experienced, dedicated, and caring teachers;
  • the most updated and efficient teaching methodologies; and
  • a comfortable, friendly, and supportive environment.

Currently these courses are offered at SEAMEO RETRAC: 

In order to facilitate young learners’ different schedules, a variety of options are open to select:
Saturday and Sunday

    • Shift 17.30–9.30
    • Shift 29.45–11.45 
    • Shift 315.00–17.00

Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday

    • Shift 18.30–10.30
    • Shift 214.30–16.30 
    • Shift 317.30–19.15 (no break)

Before enrolling their children, parents can consult with our Admissions staff for advice on course levels and appropriate programs. Learners may be required to take a placement test to have their current English level of proficiency assessed. 
The test consists of a 30-minute written component.  

Students currently studying in one of the courses will receive 10% discount for their tuition fee if the payment for the next course is made prior to the assigned date of course commencement. This policy is not applicable to those who have terminated their study at SEAMEO RETRAC not for more than six months. 

On finishing a level of study, students will be granted SEAMEO RETRAC Certificate of Course Completion if all the academic and attendance requirements are met. 


  • Students are required to observe the Students Regulations
  • Students who are absent for more than 30% of class time will not be allowed to take the final examination.
  • Tuition fees of each course will be paid in one installment prior to the course commencement. Students who fail to pay for their tuition fees on time will not be admitted.
  • Tuition fees are not refunded unless the students are not placed in an appropriate class within one month of enrolment.
