Professor Sender Dovchin is a Senior Principal Research Fellow and Dean International at Curtin University, Australia. She is also an Australian Research Council Fellow and a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Research Fellow.\n Previously, she held positions at the University of Aizu, Japan, and the National University of Mongolia. Professor Dovchin served as Editor-in-Chief of the Australian Review of Applied Linguistics, a nationally top-ranked journal,\n and is currently Editor-in-Chief of Critical Inquiry into Language Studies, an international Q1 journal.<\/p>\n

Her work has been recognised by The Australian Research Magazine in 2021, 2024, and 2025 as the leading linguist in Australia and among the top 250 researchers across all fields in the country. According to the Stanford University\n citation database, she ranks in the top 2% of most-cited scholars globally. She has led multiple high-impact research projects focused on empowering language learners from Indigenous, refugee, and migrant backgrounds in Australia\n and beyond through translanguaging and translingual practices.<\/p>\n

Professor Dovchin has authored numerous research monographs and edited volumes with prestigious international publishers, including Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press, and has published over 70 peer-reviewed journal\n articles, widely regarded as benchmarks of scholarly excellence in the discipline. She has delivered over 50 invited keynotes in more than 50 countries worldwide, sharing her expertise with diverse international audiences.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
