Dr. Justin Williams

Associate Vice President, British Columbia Institute of Technology, Canada

Dr. Justin Williams is a result-oriented international educator with 25 years of post-secondary experience both within and outside Canada. Justin’s academic leadership has allowed him to work or present in over 25 countries. Justin is an astute, results-oriented professional with a passion for delivering dynamic educational experiences. He has expertise in leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development. Justin Williams is currently the Associate Vice President, Academic at BCIT. Previously Justin held the position of Dean, Business at Douglas College, Dean, Business and Tourism and Director of Global Education and Partnerships at Niagara College. 

He also served in the following capacities: Director for Student Services and Enrollment at the University of Calgary, Faculty Lead- Human Resource Management Program at the College of the North Atlantic, Qatar and faculty at Royal Roads University where he taught in the MBA program on leadership and change management. 

Justin has led a number of global development projects in Africa, the Caribbean and South America through the United Nations (UNESCO), Global Affairs Canada and the Caribbean Development Bank. He has also spent nearly a decade working in the middle east in Iran and Qatar. Justin continues to present and publish on leadership and international development and most recently published a book chapter on international leadership. Justin’s graduate credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in International Management from Charles Sturt University, Australia, and an MBA in Management from the Royal Roads University, Canada.
