Trainer-Training Workshop on Soft Skills Teaching - Module 1 October 23-26, 2017

The modules 1 and 2 the train-the-trainer training workshop series will be conducted on October 23rd-26th and December 18th-21st respectively for the participants from different universities, colleges and vocational training schools in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.


Training workshops on ICT Applications, October 25-27, 2017

From 25th to 27th of October, SEAMEO RETRAC will organize a training workshop focusing on ICT Applications in Student Assessment and Evaluation for participants from various institutions in Ho Chi Minh City and its neighboring provinces. It will be followed by another one to be conducted from November 23rd-24th. Participants of the workshops include teaching staff and administrators of universities and colleges who aim to integrate ICT into their teaching and management.


Halloween activities, October 28, 2017

Kiddy Programs will organize various activities for students to celebrate Halloween festival at SEAMEO RETRAC. These activities will provide students with great opportunities to enhance their knowledge and discover the common festival in Western cultural tradition.


Sharing session on “Effective use of pair work/group work in the language classroom”, October 30, 2017

The session aims to help DFS teachers to maximize the effectiveness when using pair/group work in their lessons. It keeps the teachers  informed of some issues that are related to the  use of pair work/group work. It provides an opportunity for teachers to share their problems they face when pairing or grouping students in their classroom and how they tackle difficult situations.


Master of Arts (Applied Linguistics) - Intake 16, November 14, 2017

Master of Arts (Applied Linguistics) - The first workshop of Intake 16 will commence from November 14-17, 2017. This program, jointly conducted by Curtin University (Australia), and SEAMEO RETRAC (Vietnam), in accordance with the Permission No. 3539/QĐ-BGDĐT, issued on July 13, 2006 by the Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training, is designed for professionals in the field of language teaching. The program concentrates on teaching English as an additional Language (EAL) and also considers issues connected with EAL teaching in Vietnam and the region. The course is designed for teachers intending to work in Vietnam, other countries in Asia and all over the world.
