Fulbright Program in Vietnam 2011-2012

The U.S. Embassy in Vietnam announces the 2011 Fulbright Vietnamese Student Scholarship Program. Established in 1946 and funded by the U.S. Congress, the Fulbright Program aims at achieving mutual understanding through academic and cultural exchange. The Fulbright Vietnamese Student Program is a competitive, merit-based scholarship program which recruits and nominates young Vietnamese professionals for Master’s degree programs at U.S. universities. ESL and Academic Scholarships at Bellevue Community College, Washington

Bellevue Community College has many different kinds of scholarships for international students while studying at its campus.

  • The $400 academic scholarship is automatically given to the students with the 50 highest GPAs each quarter.
  • The $400 Outstanding student scholarship is given to one student each quarter that demonstrates outstanding leadership skills

ASIAN Scholarships for Vietnam

The ASEAN Scholarships for Vietnam is tenable for 4 years leading to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced’ (GCE ‘A’) Level (or equivalent) certificate.
The Scholarship is for studies in selected Singapore schools from Secondary Three to Pre-University Two and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.
Students from Vietnam are nominated by Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training for the scholarships. Candidates who are not short-listed for the scholarships will be considered for the Merit Awards.

Tuition grants by MOE Singapore

The Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS) was introduced by the Government to subsidize the high cost of tertiary education in Singapore. The TGS is currently open to students enrolled for full time undergraduate/diploma courses (subject to guidelines under existing policy) in the following institutions:

  • National University of Singapore
  • Nanyang Technological University
  • Singapore Management University, Singapore Polytechnic
  • Ngee Ann Polytechnic
  • Temasek Polytechnic
  • Nanyang Polytechnic
  • Republic Polytechnic
  • Institute of Technical Education
  • LaSalle College of the Arts
  • Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

In exchange for government subsidy received under the TGS, all non-Singaporean students (including Singapore Permanent Residents), are required to sign a TG agreement in which they will be contractually obliged to work in Singapore for a minimum period of 3 years upon graduation…..

Soshi scholarship- Scholarship at International Pacific College (IPC)

IPC was established in 1990 as a Charitable Education Institution of Higher Learning in New Zealand. IPC prepares students for full participation on the constantly changing international environment and foster close links between students from Pacific Rim countries through education.

 To assist international students to study at IPC, scholarship from the Soshi Educational Group (SEG) in Japan are available.
