Seminar on “Higher Education Reforms: Successful Stories from Korea and Malaysia”

On October 17, 2014, SEAMEO RETRAC in collaboration with Worldbank Group organized a seminar on “Higher Education Reforms: Successful Stories from Korea and Malaysia” at the Center. Dr. Ju-Ho Lee, former Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Korea and Prof. Dato’ Dr. Morshidi Sirat, Director General, Department of Higher Education, Malaysia presented at the seminar. The presentation of Dr. Ju-Ho Lee was centered on Korea’s success in education, science and technology reform and Prof. Dato’ Dr. Morshidi Sirat stayed more focused with successful stories in higher education in the era of global competitiveness. The seminar drew the participation of more than 70 educational leaders, lecturers and teachers from universities, colleges in Ho Chi Minh City and the South of Vietnam.
