Admission Announcement for the Training Workshops – Exploring America: 250 Years and Beyond

The program is implemented by SEAMEO RETRAC with support from the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.

 Target participants:
English teachers at primary and lower secondary levels in Ho Chi Minh City

🎯 Objectives:

✅ Enhance their English teaching capacity through integrating America250 themes of culture, history, science, and technology using the CLIL approach;
✅ Develop learner-centered activities to strengthen students’ communication, critical thinking, teamwork, presentation, and problem-solving skills;
✅ Foster cultural understanding by deepening participants’ knowledge of American cultures and promoting respect, inclusivity, and global-mindedness;
✅ Build connections by creating a network of young leaders who collaborate, share experiences, and engage in future community and educational initiatives.

Schedule:

Friday afternoons weekly, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM
From June 12, 2026 to September 18, 2026

Training Venue: American Center – 8th Floor, Diamond Plaza (34 Le Duan St., Sai Gon Ward, HCM City)
