 SEAMEO RETRAC, July 29 - 30, 2010, hosted the International Conference on “Decentralization
in Higher Education from a Global Perspective: Implications for Vietnam and the
Region”.
Closing ceremony for the intensive English Pre-Departure Program of Project 322 
The closing ceremony for the intensive English preparation course was held on
June 11, 2010 at SEAMEO RETRAC.
 SEAMEO RETRAC June 13, 2010 conducted a workshop on “How to teach and learn English
effectively.” The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Do Huy Thinh, Center Director
together with a group of experts of English currently working at the Center.
 After two weeks in operation, the Summer Fun 2010 course 1 concluded on June
18, 2010. A closing ceremony was organized on the same day for as many as 100
students who attended the course from June 7 to 18, 2010.
Opening a new annex in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City  The Center has just opened a new annex, located at 205- 207 Tran Hung Dao St.,
District 5, HCMC on May 15, 2010. All English programs (Adult and Kiddy) are
going to be offered at this annex.
